Project overview
Traditional design kitchen and utility extension to an existing barn conversion in a conservation area. The extension had to match the style of the barn, with weatherboards externally and purpose made windows and doors in keeping with the originals.
Inside the ceiling is vaulted, with an exposed green oak beam. New patio doors were added linking the kitchen to the courtyard outside. The landscaping is yet to be completed around the extension.
Testimonial
"We cannot recommend Rachel highly enough. She sympathetically designed & oversaw the building of our new Kitchen Extension & Utility Room to give us an intelligent use of well-lit extra space, comprising a kitchen & utility area, which, whilst being stylish, modern & functional, remained in keeping with our 350-year-old barn conversion. She liaised seamlessly with our builders & also dealt highly efficiently with the Planning Authorities to ensure that the build was as swift & hassle-free as possible. In short, her work was exceptional throughout!"
